Worthless Assets was founded in South Africa in 2026 on a simple idea: the world throws away the materials it most needs.
Our story
Hard drives, batteries, circuit boards and turbine parts hold rare earths and critical metals that are in short supply. Too often they end up shredded, stockpiled or in landfill. We find that material and put it back to work.
We source end-of-life and production scrap worldwide and connect it with the processors and refiners who need it as feedstock. We know what downstream buyers look for, so we can value difficult material quickly and fairly.
